About

Founded in 1950, the Waynesboro-Staunton Region AACA is the fourth oldest region in the country, and the very first AACA region chartered in the South.    From our beginning, Virginia’s first AACA Region attracted members from around the state, which ultimately led to the formation of six other regions including the Richmond, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Shenandoah, Piedmont and Tri-County Regions.  Click on our Region History tab for more information on our early days.

Geographically, we are located in Augusta County, in the heart of Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley.  In terms of driving distances, we’re about 165 miles southwest of Washington, DC, 105 miles northwest of Richmond, and 98 miles due north of Roanoke.  But, thanks to our website, you’re visiting with us right now!  So, grab your mouse and take a tour…you’ll learn a lot about us, our cars, our activities, and why a membership in the AACA and the Waynesboro-Staunton Region can be so much fun!
